Why they think they are gods lowercase "g"
Dr. Michael Heiser, PhD Ancient Hebrew, explains why in his 4-part "Supernatural" video series (4 hours total).
(Link below). Or read his book, which is much better.
Following is a quick overview (5 minute read) of Dr Heisers Supernatural series:
Briefly, Sheol, in Ancient Hebrew, means "Underworld" or Hell. It is a prison from which no one returned and
can only be reached through death. It was believed this is where souls go when people die.
In the beginning, God's presence was on Earth. (Garden of Eden) As long as God was here, nothing died. God is life.
God gave dominion of the earth to humans. This created cosmic and spiritual rules that cannot be broken.
Angels (Enoch called them "Watchers") hatched a plan to become gods themselves and rule over humans instead of communing with them.
This is called "The Fall." See Genesis Chapter 6 verses 1-4. These verses are assuming the reader has read Enoch Book 1 where
the complete story of the fall exists.
According to the Book of Enoch, the "sons of God" spoken of in Genesis 6, are the fallen angels, the Watchers. When the fallen ones took
wives, their offspring were called Nephilim. They were half divine and half human. They were men of renown. They were giants.
God saw these unholy Nephilim as abominations that should not exist.
In Verse 5, God sounds like he has regrets. He does not. It is believed that these verses have been modified
by the Cabal to make God appear as angry and vengeful. God new all of this would happen. God is not angry with
humans, he is dissapointed in the fallen angels for making abominations who corrupted his beloved human family.
He sends the flood to rid the earth of the Nephilim as they continue to procreate. With each generation, the nephilim
become less and less divine.
Dr. Heiser explains all of this very well. (Link at the bottom).
The Book of Enoch.pdf
Pages 1 to 30 are preface. The book begins on page 31 of the PDF
Enoch was Noah's Grandfather or Great Grandfather. I've seen both written.
These Watchers, chose to come
to Earth and take human form. The rules, which cannot be broken, prevent them from having
dominion over earth. Only humans have dominion, and they are not human, they are divine beings.
Their plan was to take human wives and have offspring, which would be half human, and the offspring (Nephilim) can have dominion without breaking the rules.
The watchers then raised and taught their children many arts (war, herbal drugs, pleasures, how to control humans like sheep).
Their goal, was to create depravity on earth and tempt the humans into sinful ways and turn humans from God.
God's divinity cannot exist where there is depravity. It simply is not possible.
Of course God is God, so if he wanted to, he could end the depravity and return, but then God would be breaking the rules of
free will. God has bigger plans ahead.
Essentially, these fallen angels' plan was to push God out of the Earthly realm and back to heaven, then the fallen could take over by
teaching their children and dominate the world through their children.
If the humans turn to God, in enough numbers, the depravity would stop and God would return. So the watchers cannot have
the depravity ever end, or God would return and they thought God would punish them.
Prior to God's exit, nothing died. God is life. With God gone, people grew old, died, and
went to Sheol- where they stayed forever.
Little did the fallen angels know that with God gone, they, too, would grow old and die. And they did. Eventually, all
of them were in Sheol and collectively formed Satan, the Devil and they ruled over the human souls there.
God did not like this as it delayed his plan to be on earth with his human family.
God, the Most High, could not come to Earth in his divine form. So he chose to be born a child and become a man
(Jesus).
These lesser gods recognized Jesus (God) and believed he came to re-establish the Garden of Eden
and eliminate depravity. They couldn't allow that to happen.
So, they crucified Jesus, solving their perceived problem. If Jesus is dead, he can't rebuild the garden.
Jesus/God did not come to re-establish the Garden of Eden. Jesus's purpose was to teach a group of disciples to carry on his teaching,
and then to goad the fallen ones into killing him on the cross.
Had these lesser gods known what was about to happen, they never would have crucified Jesus.
Jesus died and descended into Hell like every other human, but he was still God.
He had to go there himself in the form of a man.
Jesus, is now in Hell. In Satan's kingdom. But Jesus has more power than these fallen ones, and he confronts them in their dominion,
and they are powerless to do anything about it.
God / Jesus could only get to Hell by becoming a man and dying.
Hell is where Satan rules over the dead souls. Jesus, with the power of almighty God, frees the souls and ascends them to Heaven.
On the third day, Jesus rises from the dead (Defeating Death) and instructs his disciples and then he ascends to Heaven.
This is why Jesus is our Savior.
Because of what Jesus did, when we die, we no longer go to Hell but go directly to Heaven.
The lesser gods who chose to fall lost the human souls they ruled over. So they take it out
on humankind, working through human subjects, and are still in control and rule the Earth. Their goal is to
separate humans from God and create as much depravity as possible. And they do it through trickery.
These lesser gods, Satan, cannot let mankind turn back to God. They must drive humankind away from God and, to do
that, they must create more and more depravity. So they trick us with lies.
The Fallen
taught their children secret ways to control the human herd and taught them to teach their children and their children
and on down through the generations, for centuries.
The Elites, the Globalists, the Cabal Satanists, (Gates, Rockefeller, Rothschilds, Klaus Schwab, et al)
believe they are descendants of these fallen angels that took human wives.
If man returns his faith to the real God and believes that Jesus died on the cross to save us from hell, then
Satan loses, and Jesus returns and judges the fallen angels.
This is a spiritual battle. A battle between two kingdoms; The kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan.
And we all are apart of it, whether we know it or not. We fight this battle by believing Jesus
died on the cross to save our souls from Satan and not give in to the tricks, the lies, and the depravity.
